Florida’s Fizziest Festival Returns April 3-5, 2020
Don’t miss the ‘sodalicious’ fun at the Sebring Soda Fest
SEBRING, Fla. – Some call it soda, others call it pop or a soft drink. No matter how you refer to these sweet, bubbly beverages, they'll be tasted and celebrated at the 3rd annual Sebring Soda Festival in Sebring, Florida on April 3-5, 2020. With more than 200 craft sodas to sample, soda cocktails, live music and festive food in a family-friendly environment, this is the fizziest festival in all of Florida.
Held in historic downtown Sebring, this unique three-day event features traditional sodas like colas, ginger ales, root beers, and cream sodas, as well as countless others you can’t generally find in stores, including flavors like caramel apple, prickly pear, espresso, peach cobbler, candied bacon, key lime, cucumber, pepper soda, and more. And everyone loves to re-visit the many featured vintage favorites including Cheerwine and Moxie.
All of the sodas at the festival are made in small batches and most use real sugar (no high fructose corn syrup). They come from all over the U.S., including many bottled in small towns. Sodas from companies like Sprecher Brewing Co. (Glendale, WI), Fest Cola (New Orleans, LA), Boylan Bottling Co. (New York, NY), Cheerwine (Salisbury, NC) Durango Soda Co. (Durango, CO), Gene Simmons’ Money Bags Soda (Niagara Falls, NY) and others are available for tasting. Many of the soda makers and bottlers will be in attendance.
The festival kicks off on Friday, April 3rd with a free Family Fun Night with an outdoor family movie under the stars, fun and games, a mini-soda tasting and more. Full Soda Tastings will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 4th and 5 th . Soda Tasting Tickets to sample the 200+ sodas, are available online for purchase. On Saturday night enjoy food trucks and adult beverages, including soda-based cocktails, craft beer and wine.
As the Sebring Soda Festival heads into its’ third edition, it’s already enjoying industry accolades. Southeast Tourism Society (STS) has named the Sebring Soda Festival as one of the STS Top 20 Events in the Southeast United States for April 2020. The STS Top 20 Festival and Event Awards have highlighted programs around the Southeast since 1985.
Sebring, located just 60 miles south of Disney World, is home to Sebring Soda & Ice Cream Works, which carries 300+ types of craft soda. Beyond sodas, Sebring offers almost 100 crystal clear lakes for fishing and boating, more than a dozen of Florida's most affordable golf courses, one of Florida’s original state parks, and a reminder of why everyone loves an historic Florida experience.
