Hyatt Regency OIA is Now Dog-friendly!
According to the American Pet Products Association, there are approximately 77 million pet dogs in the United States. And, a growing number of their owners take them along when they travel by air. Hyatt Regency OIA now welcomes one dog up to 40 lbs. or two dogs with a combined weight of 75 lbs. for an additional fee of $150 for stays up to six nights. Cats and other pets are not permitted.
New Paw-ternity Leave Benefit – Hyatt Regency OIA believesthat pet adoption closely aligns with Hyatt’s purpose and values by providing a shelter pet with a loving and caring home.An additional three days of Paid Time Off (PTO) will be awarded to associate adopters of rescue dogs or cats from The Pixel Fund or similar organizations. This can be a very stressful time for dogs and cats; Hyatt believes that being present during that time of transition is important. These days are meant to be used toward the bonding with your new family member and their acclimation to new surroundings. This benefit is only eligible to associates who rescue, as opposed to those who buy a pet from a breeder or pet store.
Community Partner: The Pixel Fund – Adopt, Don’t Shop. Every 11 seconds, an animal is euthanized in the United States. Approximately 3.7 million animals of all ages are put down annually. The Pixel Fund dogs and puppies all come from high kill animal shelters in Florida and Georgia. Whether you are interested in providing temporary refuge through our foster program, or providing a furever home, opening your door to a Pixel Pup makes all the difference in the world.
