Aloha Isle is a quick/ counter service restaurant offering drinks and frozen treats at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. It is located in Adventureland, just past the entryway from the Castle hub. They do not accept reservations, but they do participate in the Disney Dining Plan. This is a tropical themed location that could also be declared Disney’s “home of the pineapple”.
Seating options are not dedicated. There are some nearby benches and out-of-the-way seating areas, including a tiny nook with a few tables adjacent to the counter area. The menu at Aloha Isle is perfect for a grab-and-go stop. Lines can sometimes get rather lengthy here, but as an observer, I take notice of the same thing every time I visit Adventureland… one long line, and one short one. That’s right – there is almost always a second line/ window open at Aloha Isle. The lines originate on opposite sides, and WDW mentality often drives continued traffic into one line, while guests seem completely oblivious to the second one (Also a common occurrence at “its a small world“). This is an exceptionally popular spot, but not one that has to demand excessive waiting for those who are paying attention!
*TOP PICK – The reason for Aloha Isle’s popularity is undoubtedly the ever-craved, drool-worthy, famous Dole Whip! A variety of treats are available here in pineapple, vanilla and orange flavors (cola and root beer floats as well), but for the life of me, I cannot imagine why anyone would overlook this classic Disney favorite! The Dole Whip combines soft-serve and juice for a treat that is just out of this world. AND, it’s less than $4!
