The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor is a counter service restaurant offering frozen dessert options at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. It is located on Main Street, adjacent to The Plaza Restaurant. They do not accept reservations, but they do participate in the Disney Dining Plan. This is a nostalgic, Victorian themed ice cream parlor with limited outdoor seating options.
Though The Plaza Restaurant serves dessert as well, the Ice Cream Parlor carries a broader selection of desserts, and it is a quicker, simpler spot to choose when a full meal is not the intention. It is often very busy at the Parlor, especially near parade or firework events. This is best suited for a cool-down break while taking a few moments for people watching or castle gazing from a nearby bench or table. You’ll appreciate the painstaking attention to detail at the Parlor. It is one of the most well-themed, authentic period stops on Main Street – a genuine blast from the past… if only there were a jukebox!
