LAS VEGAS (December 2016) – In early 2017 – André Rochat’s legacy will continue with the opening of Andre’s Bistro & Bar, for a brand-new generation of food lovers. Owned and operated by the dining and nightlife group, Stacked Hospitality, the new location returns Andre’s to its roots by becoming his first neighborhood restaurant opening since the debut of his eponymous, groundbreaking restaurant in 1980 in Downtown Las Vegas. Andre’s Bistro & Bar blends French Bistro and American Tavern cuisine for lunch, dinner and brunch—all served in an intimate, neighborhood setting. Leading the culinary efforts will be Executive Chef Scott Sampson who has more than 30 years of experience. Having worked at both Mistral and Andre’s Restaurant & Lounge at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino, Sampson is well-versed in Rochat’s signature style. Sneak peeks of the menu will be unveiled later this month. Patrick Trundle will serve as the restaurant’s general manager. He joined Andre’s at Monte Carlo in 2003 and worked his way from captain to beverage director for both Andre’s and Alizé at the Top of the Palms. In that position, he helmed one of North America’s largest roster of scotch offerings—encompassing nearly 50 varieties—as well as a remarkable selection of more than 150 Armagnacs and Cognacs in a 12,000-bottle collection. “We’re honored to be the keepers of Andre’s legacy as we preserve the high standards he set while progressing into a new phase,” says Joseph Marsco, managing partner, Stacked Hospitality. “Guests will love the inviting, neighborhood ambience and incredible food at great price points. Fort Apache Road, Las Vegas, NV 89148 (former DW Bistro location).
