The New York Botanical Garden’s Annual Holiday Train Show® and a New Hotel Package

The 26th annual Holiday Train Show features the architectural icons of Midtown Manhattan, The Langham’s own neighborhood. Set within the spectacular Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, model trains travel past re-creations of iconic sites from all five boroughs of New York City, the Hudson River Valley, and other locations in New York State, artistically crafted by Paul Busse’s creative team at Applied Imagination. There are 150 miniature models of the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, General Electric Building and St. Bartholomew’s Church, among other landmarks, as well as more than 25 large-scale model trains and trolleys. Many of the real-life buildings are on view from the floor to ceiling windows in the hotel’s guest rooms.

NYBG is located just 20-minutes from Midtown Manhattan by Metro-North Railroad, which runs from Grand Central Terminal to the Botanical Garden stop.
