CFCArts – Since its inception in February of 2011, the Central Florida Community Choir has brought creativity, collaboration and community-building to the Central Florida performing arts world. The choir has grown to include over 400 singers and has expanded into several other ensembles, including a Women’s Ensemble and Classical Choir. From patriotic to Christmas music, classical to Broadway, gospel to Disney, their concerts are always an exciting way to engage with the community, and this collaboration with the Orlando Philharmonic for “Home For The Holidays!” is no exception!
HOLIDAY SINGERS – THE HOLIDAY SINGERS’ combined sound of seasoned vocalists is not by mere coincidence – they are considered one of America’s premier professional vocal ensembles. Each member lends his or her command of various musical styles that adds flair, power and quality to the group, enabling them to perform many genres of choral music. The Holiday Singers and their alter ego, The Liberty Voices, have appeared in diverse venues across Florida and the U.S. including conventions and trade shows, Citrus Bowl, Capital One Bowl, Camping World Stadium, Russell Athletic Bowl, Miami Dolphins, Orlando Magic, Florida Hospital, Indianapolis 500, the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and the Sarasota Orchestra, to name a few. They have also sung for four U.S. Presidents and VIP dignitaries in official ceremonies. As educators, adjudicators, arrangers, directors and artists, the Liberty Singers’ individual contributions to arts and entertainment are immeasurable. Making their home in the vacation capital of the “World” in Orlando,
OPERA ORLANDO YOUTH CHORUS – The Opera Orlando Youth Company has sung many times with the Orlando Philharmonic. They have performed in many “Home for the Holidays” performances, as well as singing children’s chorus for their productions of “Tosca,” “Midsummer Night’s Dream,” “Barber of Seville” and Mahler’s Symphony No. 3. The program is designed for aspiring young artists who are interested in Classical Music, Opera and Musical Theatre. Members explore their artistic creativity in a work shop environment and develop their performing powers while practicing and developing healthy vocal habits. The Opera Orlando Youth Company is currently comprised of two divisions: Children’s Chorus (Elementary School age) and the Apprentice Company (Middle School and High School age.)
