KISSIMMEE, FL – (November 8, 2017) – Gaylord Palms Resort will welcome couples to celebrate love and the classic, seasonal tradition of kissing under mistletoe during its Kiss-Story in the Making special event. The resort will seek the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for Most couples kissing under mistletoe in one location on December 7, 2017, at 8:15 p.m.
Sponsored by Experience Kissimmee, the area’s travel and tourism authority, Kiss-Story in the Making at Gaylord Palms will attempt to claim the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title in this smoochably-perfect KISSimmee location. “We are honored and excited to be a part of this memorable experience,” said DT Minich, President/CEO of Experience Kissimmee. “There’s no better place to set a kissing record than right here in Kissimmee, Florida!”
During what is certain to be a memorable and fun-filled evening, Kiss-Story in the Making will bring hundreds of couples together to lock lips under a fresh sprig of real mistletoe supplied by local floral designer Greenery Productions. All of this, which will be supervised by an official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS adjudicator, will take place beneath Gaylord Palms’ six-story Christmas tree in the grand St. Augustine atrium.
By partnering with Mentos, Kiss-Story in the Making will also offer participating couples the assurance of freshness when the time comes for that magical kiss.
