ORLANDO, Fla. (March 6, 2018) – Guests attending Universal Orlando Resort’s Mardi Gras this weekend will enjoy performances by Jason Derulo on Saturday, March 10, and Fitz and the Tantrums on Sunday, March 11.
Jason Derulo is a multiplatinum powerhouse whose current hit “Swalla” has over 1 billion views on YouTube. With 115 million-plus single equivalent sales worldwide, both his introductory breakout “Whatcha Say” and “Talk Dirty” [feat. 2 Chainz] reached quadruple-platinum status, while “Want To Want Me” and “Ridin’ Solo” went triple-platinum, and “Trumpets,” “Wiggle” [feat. Snoop Dogg], and “In My Head” earned double-platinum certifications. Platinum singles include “Marry Me,” “The Other Side,” and “It Girl,” while “Get Ugly” and “Don’t Wanna Go Home” went gold. Derulo’s cumulative streams continue to soar, exceeding 7 billion, with YouTube views surpassing 4.6 billion. In The French Quarter Courtyard at Universal Studios Florida, guests can also savor Cajun-style cuisine and enjoy the sounds of Southern music by bands pulled straight from Bourbon Street. The celebration runs daily through April 7.
