At the Theme Parks
Sea World’s “Praise Wave Music Festival” kicks off on Valentine’s Day with performances by Lecrae Moore and Colton Dixon. Park admission is required, and reserved seating packages are available. Spa treatments, prime fireworks viewing locations or fireworks cruises, horse-drawn carriage rides, intimate dining reservations, and quiet strolls among the elegant resort hotels are all certain to set the mood for an amazing couples-oriented visit.
Universal Studios Orlando’s annual Mardi Gras event is in full swing. On Valentine’s Day, Jesse J takes the stage for a live concert performance beneath Rip, Ride, Rock-It – included with standard park admission. The Mardi Gras parade compliments the festivities. If you can’t make it to New Orleans this year, Universal Studios may be the next best thing for Mardi Gras fun. For a more intimate celebration, consider Harbor Nights Romantico at Loews Portofino Bay Resort. This moonlit celebration includes wine, food, and live music for $45. Reserved seating (and additional perks) cost extra. This event takes place Friday, February 13, leaving Saturday open for additional Valentine’s opportunities.

Enzian Theater is hosting a Saturday Brunch followed by a screening of the romantic hit film, Sleepless in Seattle. Live music accompanies the buffet brunch, which includes unlimited mimosas. $100 per couple, VIP reservations with additional perks for $150.
Cuba Libre is celebrating “Latin Lovers and Lushes” all weekend long. Dinner reservations can be made for as early as 4PM to partake in special holiday menus, champagne, themed cocktails, and decadent desserts.
Gaylord Palms Resort offers two days of Valentine’s dinners at two tantalizing locations. At Villa de Flora, a strolling violinist completes the alluring Mediterranean setting. Funky Monkey Bistro and Bar’s “Be My Valentine” dinner promises to be a unique event. An elaborate four-course menu, bottle of wine, and show are all included for $75 per person.
Sleuth’s Mystery Dinner Theatre hosts themed dinners and shows for three straight days over Valentine’s weekend. Reserve online to select from three different mystery show themes, and to receive an $18 discount!
Tin Roof is fast becoming I-Drive’s newest in-demand hot spot, and Valentine’s Day promises to keep the fun rolling. Enjoy remarkable food, drink specials, and live musical “tribute” acts – including Mirrors, a Tribute to Justin Timberlake. $10 cover for this special event.

Art comes in all forms at the annual Nude Nite event. February 12-14, hundreds of artists will unite for a collection of displays and performances of unique artistic expression.
